Backlit LCD features large, easy-to-read numbers with back-lighting activated at the touch of a button.  Easy-to-follow instructions are posted inside the door of programmable models for quick reference. For your convenience, Carrier thermostats do not require batteries. Clean filter indicator reminds you to clean or replace your system's air filter.

Vacation mode provides a one-button method for switching between your normal comfort schedule and a vacation schedule that makes sense while your house sits empty. Outdoor temperature display accessory provides quick accurate readings of the temperature outside. The memory stores programmed information indefinitely, therefore power outages are not a problem.
